1. What this service is
CP523 Rescue is self-help software that helps U.S. taxpayers organize information about IRS balance-due notices, simulate payment application across tax years, and prepare draft letters. We are not a law firm, CPA firm, enrolled-agent practice, or the IRS. We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice, we do not file forms with the IRS for you, and we do not represent you before the IRS.
2. No guarantees
Nothing on this site guarantees reinstatement of an installment agreement, penalty abatement, levy protection, or any particular IRS decision. All calculations (allocation simulation, cure amounts, deadlines, interest previews) are planning estimates based on rules we label with as-of dates and confidence levels; actual IRS posting and timing may differ. Printed notices and irs.gov are authoritative.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for verifying every generated letter before sending it, for meeting IRS deadlines, and for seeking licensed professional help when your situation requires it (including any Offer in Compromise, audit, or litigation matters, which are out of scope for this service).
4. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and a password meeting our stated requirements, and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or fraud.
5. Payments
The CP523 Response Kit is a one-time purchase covering one case. IA Guard is a recurring monthly subscription (billed through Stripe) covering unlimited cases while active and renewing automatically until canceled; you can cancel any time through the customer portal or by contacting us. 6. Data
You keep ownership of the data you enter and the documents you generate. We store them to operate your account. See the Privacy Policy for details, including our no-sale-of-data commitment.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CP523 Rescue LLC (Edit before launch) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
